2023’s Top Grossing Movies

This project is brought to you by using 2 AWS services; Lambda Functions, API Gateway & RDS PosrgreSQL. You are presented with a set of search parameters; Type & Value. When you make your choice and click the ‘search’ button, the HTTPS trigger within the button points to an API Gateway that spins up the Lambda Function. The function’s Node.js script receives your search parameters uses it query the RDS database and then sends the result back in a JSON format. JavaScript sees this response and updates the table with the whole row.
