2023’s Top Grossing Movies

This project is brought to you by using 2 Google Cloud services; Cloud Functions, & CloudSQL PosrgreSQL. You are presented with a set of search parameters; Type & Value. When you make your choice and click the ‘search’ button, the HTTPS trigger within the button that spins up the Cloud Function. The function’s Node.js script receives your search parameters uses it query the CloudSQL database and then sends the result back in a JSON format. JavaScript sees this response and updates the table with the whole row.
